Heritage Trades Workshop – Managers House, Inneston Village

This five day training workshop is aimed at developing the knowledge of heritage trades amongst people who are working in the construction industry.
The program will extend their understanding of Stone Masonry, Damp Proof Courses, Repointing, Undersetting and Lime Mortar Technology.

Training
Led by Keith McAllister of Applied Building Conservation Training (ABCT), the training will provide participants with the following theoretical and hands-on experience.

• Stone Masonry
• Repointing
• Damp Proof Courses
• Undersetting
• Lime Mortar Technology

Location
Managers House, Inneston Village, Dhilba Guuranda – Innes National Park.

Travel 
We ask that all participants travel on Sunday 5th May 2024, to attend the meet and greet. A BBQ will be provided on arrival.
Departing Friday 10th May after breakfast.

The cost of training will be:
ABN Holders —$600
Non-ABN Holders —$1,500

Accommodation
Stenhouse Bay Hall at Dhilba Guuranda – Innes National Park – dormitory style accommodation. You will need to bring your own linen and bedding.
Toilets, showers and kitchen facilities will be available.

Catering
All catering will be provided.

This is a great opportunity for construction workers (up-skill), homeowners and heritage professionals.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion in Heritage Trades.
