At HSR we use Keim mineral and Murobond paints in order for our buildings to be protected in the harsh Australian sun. Keim mineral paints were developed to reproduce the appearance of lime fresco finishes which were able to withstand severe weather conditions. These paints are natural, water-bourne, liquid silicate paints which are extremely sustainable and provide a protective finish that works in harmony with the environment. Murobond paints offer a water-based finish with maximum performance life in order to reduce frequent repainting. We understand the importance of matching original paints that were previously used, prior to commencing painting projects, HSR carry out paint scraping and analyses to identify original paint.
Wood graining is another element undertaken by HSR, which consists of replicating expensive timber when cheaper timber species were used, this skill has been used on many iconic buildings around Australia.
