Braeside Road, Stirling

This Braeside Rd residence, also known as ‘The Bakery’, dates back to the 1860’s as the original bakery in Stirling. In this incredible transformation the magnificent stone residence, steeped in history, was restored, renovated and developed into a residential property with a new, modern extension.

HSR embarked on a project to integrate heritage and contemporary by conserving the original bakery and adding a modern extension. When entering through the original section of the home the features include ironbark flooring to the formal lounge and dining room, which is warmed by a gas log fire place and flows through to the snug. The main attraction being the breathtaking kitchen, incorporating the original ovens that had not been utilised for over 80 years but can now operate as an indoor pizza oven.
